Hi, my name is Becky

I have been practising yoga and aerial daily for over ten years. Both disciplines were integral to a time of deep change in my life - without a doubt they helped me grow as a person. I built confidence, self-love and strength. So I want to share that potential with others.

I am a certified yoga teacher and aerial yoga teacher and a trained, ITEC certified, massage therapist - scroll down for a list of my qualifications. My dream is to combine all the elements of my learnings into creating wellness retreats and workshops that focus on nurturing self and building confidence. I believe that positive change comes from within. Through nurturing this self-expression and care we can then reach out and connect with the collective, developing strong, long-lasting, loving relationships with ourselves and others.

Well-being and personal growth are central to my philosophy and I truly believe a positive relationship with nature is key to health and happiness. We humans are not so far removed from this earth and undergrowth we live alongside. In fact, I believe that we are innately connected.

Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu’

For me, yoga is about more than a healthy body and mind - it is a movement toward healthy, inclusive societies and a more harmonious world. The more I practice yoga, the more I notice the beauty of the world around me and an enhanced connection between myself and my environment. In order to move forward, we must love and accept not only ourselves but other people and communities, and treat the planet with care. You may know the following Sanskrit phrase, 'lokah samastah sukhino bhavantu', translating to, 'may all beings be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all'.

Yoga has expanded from its roots in the heart of India across the globe, uniting people, places and practices. It is not a religion, thus it is available to people from any belief who wish to explore its depths, for whatever reason. I believe that in practising yoga we can create strong, cooperative, cohabiting communities and nurture regenerative, reciprocal relationships with the earth. We can start to give back. Positive change starts from the people.
