Aligned Spirit  Movement & Healing

Yoga Retreat

A space to reconnect with your wildness, celebrate your power, give love to your bones and

Align your Spirit

The retreat is about connecting to yourself and finding alignment between your heart and your head.

Sometimes despite all our best intentions, what we do and say doesn't match up. Or how we feel on the inside isn't what we express on the outside. This can also be reflected in our external world, meaning that life doesn’t feel ‘in flow’, barriers may be at the surface or a feeling of stuckness.

This retreat is designed to invite more flow. We build resilience through movement, meditation, breathwork, creativity, reflective practice, deep rest, self-enquiry and ceremony. This deeply supportive retreat will leave you feeling aligned, strong, empowered and lighter as you step into the next half of the year with purpose. Join us to nurture connection and embrace the sacred soul within you.

Harness the power of your heart and experience deep joy, fierce bliss, inner freedom and resounding balance. Tap into the innate tools within to empower yourself in a journey of healing and release.

We build, grow and flow together at this inspired yoga space in the heart of Andalucia.
A high-energy aesthetic space for your body, mind and soul to recharge.

It was the most wonderful yoga retreat offering inspiring workshops/classes in the most dreamy surroundings. The meditation and yoga at the start of the day was beautifully led by Becky, each day focusing on a different area to nurture and each day it resonated highly. We ate the most incredible healthy plant-based food that left me feeling amazing, along with a beautiful cacao ceremony one evening, couldn’t of asked for a better experience. Overall the retreat was peaceful, inspiring and so nourishing for the soul, would recommend to all!’

Aligned Spirit Yoga Retreat

12th-17th June 2023

~ WE ARE HERE TO HEAL ~

It’s time to take a breath and focus on you.

Life is busy, chaotic, constantly changing and evolving - and so are you!
Ask yourself now - do you carve out space to catch up with yourself and integrate all that you experience in a healthy way?
We only know this one life - let’s feel it, enjoy it and make the most of it!

Your body is a powerful tool for healing and growth, but without your loving awareness, it can become tired, achy, and even sick. It’s more and more widely recognised that body and mind are intrinsically linked, they function in unity. Your body holds tension and emotional pain to enable you to get on with your life, which is pretty cool! But it also means it’s extremely important to love, honour and tend to the whole of you.

This allows body, mind and spirit to revisit balance and harmony.

This Retreat is…

designed as an opportunity to connect to a deeper part of the self and facilitate a journey of healing. Together we will move, breathe and ignite a passion within you. You will:

  • Rest, recharge and eat delicious healthy organic food

  • Join breathwork, in- and outdoor yoga, meditation, dance, and art making

  • explore in a fun and light way how your body and mind work together

  • Learn all about listening to your own sensations & emotion

  • learn embodied methods for self regulation and healing

  • experience ceremonial cacao and journaling sessions

  • re-empower your innate wisdom

  • build confidence in your path and life-work

We will use a range of techniques and practices to allow you to absorb the teachings, not only mentally but also physically and energetically. Dr. Marloes van Houten will put her PhD, focussed on a holistic approach to stress release & healing, to work throughout the retreat. There is the possibility to book individual massage or therapy/coach sessions

This retreat is all about you. There is no requirement to join in, you can dip in as you need in response to your vibes at the time.

Whilst we encourage participation, only you know what you need in this moment - and that’s what we’re here to learn more about!

Is This Retreat The Right Fit For Me?

  • You practice yoga, self-care and recognise it’s taken work to get to where you are today. WELL DONE!

  • But you’re busy, you’re tired and somehow there are never enough hours in the day. Maybe there’s a feeling of disconnect, discontentment, lack or longing.

  • You are interested in somatic practices and have an interest in your body-mind connection.

  • You want to invite more love, peace and ease into your life. You’d like to feel more aligned between your heart and your head, to regain control over your health and wellbeing.

  • You’d like to feel that you’re working toward your potential in a constructive way, that you’re on your path and honouring your body-mind-spirit along the way.

  • You want to learn to listen to the signs, to learn to understand yourself, heal what needs to be healed, and build resilience.

  • You’re ready to do the work. This retreat is part of that journey.

Join us to nurture your beautiful soul amongst the sunflowers of Southern Spain

The most restorative and transformative experience, I gained so much from my time with Becky. As a total beginner, I felt in such safe hands, she really helped me realise the capabilities of my body through her yoga and aerial classes, leaving me feeling totally empowered, grounded, full of self-acceptance and love. Thank you so much, I can’t wait for the next one!

Your Instructors

Becky Neusinger & Dr. Marloes Van Houten

Becky Neusinger

Becky is a certified yoga teacher and aerial yoga teacher. She is a trained therapist in classical, thai and osteothai massage and is studying a yoga therapy and somatics certified course. Her mission is to combine all the elements of her learnings into creating wellness retreats and workshops that focus on, healing, nurturing self and building confidence and empowerment. Well-being and personal growth are central to her philosophy and she truly believes a positive relationship with nature is key to health and happiness. We humans are not so far removed from this earth and undergrowth we live alongside. In fact, it is her belief that we are innately connected.

Becky has a degree in anthropology which informs her understanding of people on a holistic and evidence-based level and underpins her work toward positive change. She has taught in multiple capacities - in studio, retreats, yoga teacher training courses, 121, online, events, rebellions, hen do’s - the lot! She’s been practising yoga daily for more than 9 years and it is safe to say it is a gift that will be with her for life. Yoga was integral to a time of deep positive change and continues to support her along every step of this beautiful tapestry of ups and downs we call life.

Becky’s work is in inspiring self-worth, self-compassion and deep inner-strength. Her research is informed by disciplines of positive psychology, self-compassion studies, shadow work and her offerings shaped around student feedback and scientific research. She believes that positive change comes from within. First we must find love and contentment inside ourselves, then we can offer our light and talents as meaningful contributions toward a balanced, positive and inclusive future.

What is clear, is that we all have the tools already inbuilt to be content and balanced. Our minds and bodies are fully equipped to self-regulate and manage trauma. The problem we face as a global race is that we have lost connection to our source, ourselves and each other. We live in a society that does not promote preventative and self-healing practices. It is time to evolve from dependency, to empowerment and the freedom of self-reliance.

“ Flow, play, daring to dig in deep and be real!
Those are words and elements central to the yoga classes I teach. In addition to the yoga teacher training (Ashtanga Vinyasa and Restorative) I completed, I also draw inspiration from my background in professional dance, my experience as a therapist, and
my PhD focused on engaging dance/yoga in healing processes. With every movement class I teach, I think it is important that everyone feels seen and welcome! I challenge the people in my class to take whatever they learn on the mat, into their lives, into the world.”

Marloes is a movement educator, professional dancer/choreographer and trauma therapist. She has a calm sparkly personality and a deep, multi-layered love for movement. Her drive is to support individuals and groups to move from stagnancy (in their minds or bodies) to flow. While raised in the Netherlands, Marloes lived, performed, led projects globally. Marloes worked many years in conflict and post-disaster areas in humanitarian aid, conflict transformation, research and the arts. In the Netherlands she combined her artistic career with work in the academic and mental health sector.

Marloes loves to cross-pollinate. She graduated in Performing & Community Arts (BA), Visual Arts (PI certificate, Willem De Kooning Academie), International Development Studies (MSc. Honors). She also studied ‘Expressive Arts for Performance/Therapy (Advanced Post-Master) in Switzerland, and completed her PhD in Hong Kong focusing on the Life/Art Process as a tool in trauma healing. She earned certificates to engage nature therapy/coaching in her work, and teach yoga, breathwork, pilates, cardio and strength building classes. Marloes has been teaching all kind of movement classes since 2000.

In 2013, Marloes founded a therapy practice Birds of Paradise which focusses on improving people’s overall wellbeing through movement (yoga, tai chi, dance) and expressive arts therapy. In 2014, Marloes started the cross cultural dance theatre collective Forge and acts as it’s artistic director. Forge Collective has been mainly active in Europe, USA, and Asia and aims to raise socio-political issues through staging dance theatre performances, expositions and film. In 2019, Marloes started a yoga therapy program, together with the founder of Yoga School Noord (Amsterdam).
